Use this page if you want Sellixa to delete account information, workspace data, or personal data processed through a merchant using Sellixa.

1. Purpose of This Page
This page explains how to request deletion of personal data connected to Sellixa. It is intended for Sellixa account owners, merchant team members, and individuals whose data may have been processed through a merchant workspace using Sellixa.
2. If You Are a Sellixa Account Owner or Workspace Admin
If you manage a Sellixa account or workspace, you may request deletion of your account data, workspace data, or connected channel data by contacting us.

- Include the workspace name, the email address tied to the account, and a clear description of the deletion request
- If the request affects a connected Instagram, Facebook, Messenger, or WhatsApp channel, include the channel name or handle where possible
3. If You Are an End Customer of a Merchant Using Sellixa
If your information was processed by a merchant using Sellixa, that merchant may be the controller of your data and may need to approve or handle the request directly. Sellixa may forward your request to the relevant merchant where appropriate.
- You may still contact Sellixa directly if you do not know which merchant controls the data
- We may ask for additional information so we can identify the relevant workspace or route the request correctly
- Where local law requires it, we will work with the merchant to support deletion, access, or correction requests
4. Information to Include in a Deletion Request
To help us process a request safely and accurately, include as much of the following information as you can:
- Your full name
- Your email address and phone number, if either was used with the merchant or Sellixa
- The merchant, store, or workspace name involved
- Relevant Instagram handle, Facebook Page, Messenger identity, WhatsApp number, or other platform identifier
- A description of what data you want deleted and whether the request applies to a specific channel, conversation, contact, or account
5. What We Delete
When a valid deletion request applies to data controlled by Sellixa or data we are authorized to remove on behalf of a merchant, we will take reasonable steps to delete or de-identify the relevant data from active systems.
- Sellixa account and workspace records, where the request concerns account closure or workspace deletion
- Connected channel records, tokens, and integration data that are no longer needed
- Customer, contact, order, message, comment, tag, and automation-related records where deletion is valid and operationally permitted
- Associated support or operational records, except where we must retain them for legal, security, billing, or fraud-prevention reasons
6. Data We May Retain
Some information may need to be retained even after a deletion request is completed.
- Billing, invoicing, tax, and accounting records
- Security, audit, abuse-prevention, and fraud-investigation logs
- Minimal records needed to document the deletion request and our response
- Backups retained for short disaster-recovery windows until they expire in the normal backup lifecycle
- Information we are legally required or otherwise permitted to retain under applicable law
7. Timing and Verification
We may need to verify the identity or authority of the person making the request before deleting data. Once verified, we aim to respond within a reasonable time and complete deletion within the period required by applicable law and operational constraints.
8. Meta and Connected Platform Access
If you connected Instagram, Facebook, Messenger, or WhatsApp to Sellixa, you may also disconnect the integration from inside Sellixa and remove the app from the relevant platform settings. Disconnecting access helps prevent future data syncing, but it may not by itself delete historical records that were already processed. A deletion request is still recommended if you want stored data removed.
